Posen Roof Replacement Under Solar Panels, Coordinated as One Job

Removal, reroof and reinstall booked on a single timeline. You stop being the messenger between trades.

No More Getting Caught in the Middle

The hardest part of reroofing a solar home is often not the work. It is the coordination. The roofer will not start until the panels are off. The solar company has its own schedule. You end up in the middle, making calls, waiting. Solar Panel Removal Posen takes that off your plate by planning the whole thing as one job. The solar detach is scheduled first. Next the shingles are replaced on an empty deck, still inside that one schedule. Reinstallation is lined up to follow directly. We are not here to sell you on roofing materials; the value is in the sequence and in having one plan to follow. After the new roof is down, new mounts go in, each penetration is flashed fresh, the modules go back where their tags say and the wiring is rejoined slowly and tested. The electrical side gets the same care on the way back up as it did on the way down. For older Posen homes where the roof is due and the solar is in the way, this keeps the project moving and keeps you informed at every step.

What One Plan Covers

Each stage set up to hand off to the next.

  • Coordinated dates

Detach, roof replacement and reset scheduled together.

  • Safe solar removal

Shutdown, disconnection and removal of panels, racking and conduit.

  • Labeled storage

Every panel inventoried and stored until the roof is done.

  • Roof replaced on a clear deck

No solar equipment in the way during the reroof.

  • Attachments made for the new shingles

Each mount replaced and flashed into the new roofing.

  • Careful reconnection

Panels reinstalled, reconnected and tested for production.

The Order of Things

  1. Plan

After checking both shingles and solar, we phone through a firm, line-by-line figure, typically inside 48 hours, along with dates for each stage.

  2. Panels down, roof done

The solar is removed and stored, and the roof is replaced on an open deck without delays tied to the panels.

  3. Panels up

New mounts and flashing go in, panels are reinstalled and the system is reconnected, tested and documented.

Why Homeowners Prefer One Plan

  • You are not the go-between

One plan, one place to ask, no relaying messages between trades.

  • Shorter downtime

Stages booked back to back keep the system off as briefly as possible.

  • Mounts for the new roof

Fresh attachments and flashing, not leftovers from the old roof.

  • One coordinated plan
  • Deck cleared for the roof
  • New flashing every mount
  • Reconnected with care
